Check out the sunset paint makeover I did to this vintage dresser I picked up off Craigslist. The body was pretty rough, so I smoothed it out with some good ‘ol sanding & bondo, and then I removed the old knobs, filled in the holes, and cut new handles notches on the drawers for a more modern look. The finishing touch was the fresh white paint on the body, and the custom sunset paint job on the drawers.
Watch the quick makeover here:
When I first bought the dresser, I had no idea what I was going to do with it. I sure never thought that ugly, old “hospital green” dresser would ever look like this. I can’t believe how well my sunset paint job turned out, too!
Here’s a couple of before and afters to give you another look at the brand new life it has now.
So…. pretty awesome, huh?
I’d love to hear what you think of it. Drop me a comment, and let me know!
Later!
